Poncho is built to do work for you, and that means it sometimes handles personal information. This page explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account info. Email, sign-in method, and basic profile data when you create an account.
- Content you provide. Messages, instructions, and tasks you give Poncho.
- Integration data. When you connect third-party services, we access only the data you've authorized, and only as needed to complete tasks.
- Usage data. Diagnostics, performance, and feature usage to help us improve the app.
How we use it
- To run the tasks you ask Poncho to perform
- To notify you when tasks complete
- To improve the app's reliability and performance
- To respond to support requests
Third parties
To produce responses, Poncho sends your prompts and relevant context to AI model providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI). These providers act as data processors under contract and do not use your content to train their models. Apple processes your subscription via the App Store.
Storage and security
Your data is stored on encrypted infrastructure and protected with industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Your choices
- Review and edit notes Poncho keeps on you, anytime, inside the app
- Disconnect any integration at any time
- Delete your account to remove your data from our systems
- Contact us with privacy questions
Children
Poncho isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
